Odd and the Frost Giants from Neil Gaiman
(and the book is only one ringgit, its to celebrate World Book Day)

Its about a boy with a broken leg name Odd.
The winter isn't ending and no one knows why.
And Odd has run away from home even though he can barely walk. Out in the forest he encounters a bear, a fox and an eagle. Three creatures with a story to tell. Well turns out the three animals are gods. The bear is Thor, lord of the thunder, the eagle is Lord Odin, all father, greatest of the gods and the fox is Loki, the blood brother to the gods.

Odd now heard their stories and why they turned into animals, Asgard the city of gods was invaded by Frost Giants but why?
It takes some special kind of boy to defeat the most dangerous of the frost giants and rescue the mighty gods. Someone cheerful and infuriating and clever....
Someone like Odd...


Like the book. Its great! Plus its only one ringgit. This book is to celebrate Book Day. Its adventurous and simple. Quite funny and have a nice plot. I really have no more to say, I'm so tired with all the writing...

Half Moon Investigations by Eoin Colfer

This book is about a boy name Fletcher Moon. He's a boy detective, seriously, he already got a badge from a detective school and very good at solving mysteries.
Until, one day he got in trouble with the school principle, after that his life turned upside down.
He suddenly need to clear his name... because he was found by a house while a fire suddenly lit it....

The book has its twist and complications. But its nice all the same. It has lots of unexpected stuff going on in there... I think its perfect for people who tried to solve mysteries.

King Arthur and the Round Table retold by Geraldine McCaughrean

We all know the myth of King Arthur right? This story was retold by Geraldine McCaughrean and illustrated by Alan Marks. The story has most of King Arthur's adventures and the time when Merlin dies....

I like it. It has magical illustrations, lovely adventures and nice book. Its quite expected really since it's a myth that always come in movies and other books...

My Sister Jodie by Jacqueline Wilson.

Its getting more lovelier and magical from the beginning to the end! Its was beautiful lovely and breath taking! Oh dear, I should tell about the book first no?

It's about two sisters, Jodie and Pearl. Pearl is a much younger one small, shy and anxious though Jodie is three years older and is the exact opposite of Pearl.
Spite their differences, Pearl adores her and Jodie protects her. OK enough of this!

It beat Midnight! A beautiful breathtaking book from Jacqueline Wilson. A true work of art.
It has a bowl full of mixed emotions, the characters came to life as I read it. As I read so far, nothing beat this book... yet.

If you see this in store, you really should buy it even for a very high price. It really is worth it.

The Diamond Girls by Jacqueline Wilson

Dixie, Rochelle, Jude and Martine, the diamond girls! They may sound like a girl band but these sisters have a problem. They are moving into a terrible house in a run-down estate and their mom is pregnant. Her mom was convinced the baby will be a boy. So, even though Dixie's the youngest, she's desperate to get the house fixed up before Mum gets home with the new baby..

Its a weird story really with a lovely plot. Expected from Jacqueline but eeee........ a bit to urm.... loose. Though I'm not a big fan of this book..... So no comments.
Please don't read this if you're below 12.....

The Legend of the Worst Boy in the World! By Eoin Colfer

Its about a boy named Will short for William. He sometimes has problems so he goes to his mom but there is always someone else whining after her. So he goes to his grandfather to talk about it, but Will can never beat his grandfathers problems like a shark bite on his head or using tinfoil to wipe instead of tissue paper.... Until he asks his father if there is an exciting event when he was small....

This story reminds me of my little brothers. Its very funny and terrifying. Its great if you're immature enough. Its really great but my brother doesn't want to read it though...

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Harry Potter is a wizard. It was his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Little does he know that this year will be just as eventful as the last. Since the chaotic event at his birthday. He was trapped in his room and got in trouble with the Ministry of Magic. He tried to go to Hogwarts using the onto a train in Platform 9 3/4... They found out it was blocked so (illegally) by using the flying car that Arthur Weasley, Ron's dad, once enchanted... The potion teacher, Severus Snape, caught them doing it.... When they got there, with Hermione, they found out something called the Chamber of Secrets. So what is behind that chamber? Why is it kept a secret and will they find it?

It was so long since I read it. I need to go through the plot so I can make this review. So its great like the first book (Harry Potter and the Philosopher/Sorceror stone) its nice and magical. Although Harry got in trouble in this book more, that what makes it exciting...

Witches by Roald Dahl

There is one boy and his grandmother (Roald Dahl actually didn't gave a name for them!!!) who knows, seen and fought their way to the world of witches. They know what witches like and what witches doesn't, they know how they look like and how to destroy them.... The boy, he wrote this book after he was cursed from the witches, so you'll know how to protect yourself from them...

This is a nice book. It gives you imagination and the illustration from Quentin Blake makes the story come to life. Its lovely with the poems, the drawings and of course the writings....

The first fiction book I actually enjoy reading. And I learn the secrets of a magician. Its nice and magical. There is funny illustrations and funny jokes. Some pages have facts below the magic tricks to show what magician did in the old days. Plus my brother enjoy reading it too!

George's Marvellous Medicine from Roald Dahl

Its a kids dream come true to take revenge on someone they hate but to hate grandmothers are quite cruel.
Its nice to read it, its funny and there are lots of poems. The book is very suitable for young readers. Good thing there is a warning sign saying "Do not try to make Georges Marvellous Medicine yourselves at home. It could be dangerous". Who knows what happen if little kids actually did the medicine...

Well its great actually, Roald Dahl even make new words for the book!

It was brilliant! Its the first book I read from Eoin Colfer, and I love it.
It was funny, lovely and true. I have no more to say. This book is effective. I read it only for a day! It was beautiful... And artistic to.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - J.K Rowling.

Its the first series of Harry Potter that make the Harry Potter books interesting!
Its funny, cruel, pity and lively all of it is in the book. Harry Potter is a kid with a normal life who turn out to be a wizard. He met Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley on the way to the his new school called Hogwarts....
Read it and you will know the plot.

I like it, especially when Harry met Lord Voldemort. Its wonderful to read this book and all other J.K Rowling's Harry Potter series.
That's all I have to say.

Its about three siblings, Ignis, Allandra and Michael, are trying to run away from their drug baron father. Though Michael got caught in the run by one of his fathers 'friends'. The two others found a ninja school deep in the forest. They hid there until Allandra finally can wait there no longer. She tried to find her brother... But can she save Michael without sacrificing herself?

Well, its quite a mix story. Japanese and English both inside the book. This what makes me intrested. Its well.... As all other children story! Laughter... Excitement.....Emotion.
I really like the book. Infact I'm going to read it right now...

Questors by Joan Lennon

This book.... A real exciting book actually.. Its about three worlds and three heroes each from each world. Questor one: a warrior, with a hunter's instincts... Questor Two: a visionary, with a skill of an artist... Questor Three: a strategist, able to reason out any material challenge... They were planned as the perfect team, so as you can see it was a shame that the Questors turned out to be three scruffy children.

They need to go to a quest in those three worlds to save the world... So will they succeed?

Its not mixed... But its a fantasy book, one girl, one boy and one emergent... Its a real funny book. Seriously, you will find it real cheek breaking.. (hehe cheek breaking).
Well... Its like all other children books. Funny, exciting and lovely.
Too bad the book's not that popular.

Midnight from Jacqueline Wilson:

I love the book! Jacqueline really does know how many kind of problems are in this world! This book was one of them. It was unbelievable, even if it is from a book, the writing, the grammar, and the unexpected beginning and end. It was like fantasy came back to life.

I can't stop reading it. When I finish reading it, I read it all over again and I never get tired of it. In fact, I can tell you what its about now if you want to... But I'm not a spoiler.....(Not like you Dad) It become my favourite book of all time.

Read it yourself. Its funny, great, cool, and unexpected.


Book Review Two: 24/5

The Wish List from Eoin Colfer.

I cannot say. Its story its full of laughter and emotions but if I compare it to my favourite book, Midnight, Midnight's better. The story is funny but emotional at the same time.

If I rate it 1-10, it'll be 9. Its illogical but its funny, lovable and beautiful.
If I never read Midnight this will be my favourite book but made it as my second favourite..
All I can say for people is going to read this book, if you guys are bored the Wish List book is the perfect book for that!

Lost Treasure of the Emerald Eye from Geronimo Stilton.

My young brother likes to read it. I don't understand why the author of the book wants to be the main character of the book too. I guess he wants to be part of the action.

Well, the story is great, exciting, lovely, mousy and totally fit for young readers. The font, colours, and pictures, even I love to read this. Its adventurous, and the author is imaginative. He translates like New Mouse City (New York City), Ratlantic Ocean (Atlantic Ocean) etc.

Its great for young readers to start reading using this, its lovely for adult to..

Suitcase Kid from Jacqueline Wilson

I feel sorry for the heroine in the book. This book is quite different from other books, most Jacqueline's heroines are little. This one is taller and stronger.
When I read this book, I noticed that she always change material of the plot.

This time the heroines parents was divorced... But the author keep it funny and sad.. Its hard for two of those kind of genre to mix, but Jacqueline Wilson make its happen and beautifully too.
It worked out but I do not know if its a happy ending yet.. Well the heroine is happy so I guess it is...

Didn't find balloons..... YET. The good part is: I'm not bored AND I don't need to study....

Now my hands are sticky, coz of the pinata. Noah's friends help though.... and Nadia...

Ikhlas just sits there saying to Noah, repeatly, "R u finish? I want to play the Ps2 cooome ooon"

Some kind of brother he is....

Well atleast there is a good use of the kendo sword ( I mean the pinata not Ikhlas).......

To Noah:

You're maybe weird, stupid, and a big nicompoop. You are still my,weird, brother. You're a companion to me when Irina and Ikhlas wasn't born(YET). In the past, you were annoying and a brat... Now, you are promoted to an idiot. Eventhough you were a brat, you're the first sibling I played with, the first sibling I smiled to.

So I am happy and proud to say....

Hamsters... looong time ago...

Oncy 'pony, timy...

At home,I once got 3 hamster, 2 male and one female.

And then suddenly the female got babies...

An the they're family grew and grew and grew.

Then when I need to move to Africa, my family needs to sell them all :(. The picture on the right r not my hamsters, especially not the one in the cup... I can't find my pics of them so I just took it from the internet.....

They're very cute ain't they? Mine are cuter :P. Hehe.

yeh I just want to tell them how cute they r. hehe.

I hope when I move back to Malaysia I get back my hamsters...

Now here in Africa I got a cat =^^=. Ok its the blocks cat....:D

The world and me...

The world... is definetly cruel to me...
I need to fight to save my life....
I need to play to have fun....

My heart bleeds for this world...
My blood shed for this world...
But this world still didn't give me what I want...

I always had a fight with this world....
And the world won again and again...
But I'm still not satisfied...
This world its to cruel....

But what can I do?
Nothing....
But the most dumb thing I did was....
When that world was destroyed...
My eyes was filled with tears.

I think back what I did with that world..
That world was the place I was born...
That world did teach me...
And then I noticed...

That world did teach me....
but it never teached me the importance of this life...

So, I found this new world.... a new world with self-confidence.
I found out its more easier to breath in here... to live here
It gave me what I wanted...
It teached me new things..
It gave me new friends that accept me for who I am...
Though I knew that nothin' lasts forever..

So I won't wish to hard to live here forever...
Now... the only thing I will think
is to be free forever and ever,
Wherever I live...
Being free
